Phaesun has installed and successfully started Eritrea’s major solar pumping system.
A capacity of 9.2 kWp makes it possible to secure the water supply for the entire village of Deki Tsunai. The village is not connected to the grid and water had to be conveyed with an effort by hand pumps from 166 meters of depth.
The project was funded by Wasserstiftung and the Eritrean Ministry of Land, Water and Environment and has been realised by Phaesun Asmara.
