Phaesun Ivory Coast arranges energy independence
The Phaesun representation in Ivory Coast together with the local partner S-Tel has inaugurated a solar system for the supply of the office building. The solar system on the rooftop of the office in Abidjan supplies important electrical consumers in the house, as well as a Back-up system which ensures the continuity of workflow in case of power failure. Moreover, the system serves as a demonstration plant for local customers. Serge Coulibaly, regional coordinator of Phaesun Ivory Coast explains: "As a trailblazer on the sector of renewable energies we wish to demonstrate that solar energy offers reliable power supply both in urban and rural regions. With our own system we can show our customers and interested parties in West Africa that solar is an ecological and economic power source!"

Caravaning technology fans at Caravan Salon 2015
We can look back on a successful fair perfomance at Caravan Salon 2015 in Düsseldorf / Germany. More than 200,000 visitors were registered by the fair organisers this year. Many visitors were also interested in the accessories necessary for holidays in the open nature, apart from the latest vehicle trends in the caravan holiday sector. Phaesun presented a wide range of Off-Grid solar systems and single components for the reliable power supply when you are on holidays. Various portable modules both foldable in a practical suitcase and semiflexible small modules for trekking tours aroused particular interest! Phaesun presented the new German language product catalogue with the most topical product selection for the caravan, camping and marine sector.

Seed Award for energy shops
Phaesun Partner "Loja de Energias" from Mozambique has been awarded the Seed Award 2015 as a winner in the category social and environmental start-up enterprises. The concept of Loja de Energias (Portuguese for energy shop) has been developed in the framework of the PPP-project "E3 Mozambique" which was carried out by Phaesun and further local partners from 2010 to 2013. During the projects runtime, the first energy shops in Mozambique were opened which also offer charging opportunities for lamps and mobile phones in rural Off-Grid regions, apart from selling small solar kits. Gilda Monjane, managing director of Loja de Energias proudly accepted the award in Kenya and is looking forward to extend their network of energy shops in the country.
