Fair months of August and September:It
started with the trade fair Adventure Southside this
time new in Friedrichshafen: You had the feeling that
many were really on withdrawal - as far as trade fair
visits are concerned. A total of 150 exhibitors were
on site and a total of 9,500 visitors on 3 days. In
the evening, people talked shop in the Camp Area. A
lot of attention was paid to our new Powerbox: Energy
Gen in combination with the now even more powerful Fly
Weight with 90 watts and of course our premium Sun
Peak modules with the Sunpower cell. The next
Adventure Southside is scheduled to take place from
29.07.- 31.07.2022.
Afterwards, the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf, which was
eagerly awaited by everyone, took place. It was now
with delay the 60`te Caravan Salon in now more 13
halls. During 10 days of the fair 185.000 visitors
came under the 3G rule to see what 653 exhibitors from
31 countries had to offer. Our improved Fly Weight,
our new Power Box with inverter Energy Gen and the
Phocos Any Grid Hybrid Inverter were very well
received by the visitors.
Of course we also highlighted our 20th anniversary.
All in all it was a successful event. The next
Caravan Salon Düsseldorf will take place from 26.08.-
04.09.2022.
The last event to take place was the Adventure
Northside at Gut Basthorst. This year about 120
exhibitors came together to present everything about
expedition and OFF road travel to the interested
public. Unfortunately the weather god was not always
in the game and so one had to wait for some rain
fronts. However, this did not dampen the spirits of
the numerous visitors, so that again many interesting
discussions and consultations took place around the
supply with solar power. The next Adventure Northside
will take place in September 2022, the exact date will
be announced in time.

Goodbye Sabine:
At
the end of August we unfortunately had to say
goodbye to Sabine from the order processing.
Dear Sabine, thank you very much for your
commitment, for the positive moments together and
for the work we did together.
We wish you all the best for your future, that
everything will develop as you imagine it! The whole

News from our partner Florin from Ecovolt in Romania.
The
system was installed for an Orthodox monastery
located in an isolated place in the heart of the
mountains. There is no public electricity grid
available. Access to this location was very
difficult but they managed to do the installation in
the allotted time. The system contains a 6KWp
photovoltaic network connected to a battery with a
capacity of 1400Ah / 48V, sufficient to power
conventional consumers with the help of a Schneider
Electric inverter with a maximum power of
8.5KW.

Augsburg and the first trade fairs are already

Project news:
Phaesun
designed and supplied 69,3kWp Hybrid - PV system in
Hargeisa, the capital city of Somaliland. The system
designed with SMA electronics, Phaesun modules and
batteries was successfully installed by our local
partner Kaafi horn renewable energy company and
commissioned by our consultant Mr. Gerd Ebbinghaus.
The PV system will provide clean and cheap energy to
a hotel facility, with a possibility of supporting
neighbouring households during local grid outage.

at his place for a pasture fence. So the fence is
always well supplied.

visit:After

delegation of the postgraduate course from Africa
under the leadership of Weihenstephan-Triesdorf
University of Applied Sciences and GIZ at the end
of August.
A company presentation, a company tour and a
lecture on the topic: Solar cooling systems
rounded off the visit.

News
from the project area:Solar
power for the Kara health station in Ethiopia.
Together with our local partner Lydetco and the
German aid organization humedica e.V. we realized
a solar power supply for the health station of the
Kara in Ethiopia at the Omo River (in the
south-west of Ethiopia).
We optimized the system design and delivered the
products.
There are about 20.28kWp installed (39 modules
each of 260Wp on east and west roof).
In addition a Victron Inverter/Charger Quattro
48V/10'000W and 4 Victron charge controllers
SmartSolar MPPT 250/100.
The battery bank with the Phaesun Sun Station 14
OPzV 2660 has 48V/2740Ah (C100).
