Factory Acceptance Test (FAT)

Purpose

The Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) is part of the Phaesun quality process to check all the equipment which is included in the solar system before shipment.

Content

• Listing of equipment
• Test of the equipment (regulation unit, array junction boxes, converters and/or inverters)
• Review of the logistics aspects (type of packing, marking)
• Conclusion and report of test (factory commissioning)

Standard Process

Day 1:

• Premises visit
• Introduction to security aspects
• Review of the reference documents
• Electrical test on the regulation unit

Day 2:

• Counting and visual check of the equipment
• Logistics points review
• FAT closure
