Karen is an association for the promotion of sustainable energy in the Caribbean. Karen is mainly active in Cuba and carries out electrification projects for local smallholder farmers, communities and individual households in rural areas without access to the electricity grid.

ZimRelief was founded in 2007 in the Allgäu region of Germany and since then has been supporting local educational institutions in and around Harare, the capital of Zimbabwe. ZimRelief has set itself the goal of raising awareness about grievances in Zimbabwe and providing sustainable support to the local people.
