Räuschle Bier

The first Räuschle Weissbier sud was brewed with over 700 l in a beautiful small brewery in Bavarian Swabia.
The exact Räuschle recipe remains our secret, of course. But of course we would like to introduce you to a few of our selected ingredients. All ingredients come from the region.

Räuschle Weissbier is brewed with a mixture of wheat and barley malt. Pilsener malt and Munich malt are also included. In combination, these make for a beautifully cloudy, amber-coloured wheat beer.
For the hops, we count on Hallertauer mittelfrüh. These are among Germany's most noble hop varieties. It impresses with its fine aroma, slightly spicy character and a not too high bitter content.
Towards the end of the brew, our Räuschle is refined with Mandarina Bavaria. As this is an extremely high-quality aroma hop, it is mostly used for high-quality beers from small breweries. For large commercial breweries, this hop is too expensive.
Afterwards, our young Räuschle spends several weeks in the fermentation tank and develops its alcohol content in peace. Afterwards, it is bottled and the famous bottle fermentation may begin.

Brauerei Maisacher

The brewery was founded in 1556 - 40 years after the enactment of the Bavarian Purity Law. That was a long time ago - the deep Middle Ages, shortly before the Reformation. Back then, beer was served as the "poor man's liquid bread" because wine was too expensive. Over the centuries, the brewery changed owners or operators many times. It finally received its long-held name from Joseph Sedlmayr: his initials are still part of the coat of arms of the Maisach brewery, which had been run by the Sedlmayr family for over 100 years. Since January 2016, Michael Schweinberger has been running the brewery, thus continuing the tradition of the private brewery: the team brews high-quality, handmade beers - in keeping with the classic craft of brewing.
