Successfull
project:Our
partner Zularistan ltd. has successfully accomplished
an innovative solar water pumping project in Nangarhar
province of Afghanistan. This irrigates a land of 4000
hectares and would bring significant improvement in
agri business. A 1.2 MW solar plant would run two pump
stations uplifting water to a 63 meter height with
flow of 1.5 cubic meter per second from each pump.
This project can easily be replicated to convert the
barren lands into fertile and support the farmers. We
supplied the water pumps and the inverters for this.

Product check:
At
Phaesun, regular product checks are also part of the
process. In our laboratory the new Solar Charge
Controller MPPT Western WRM15 dualB-E was tested. The
functionality of the app was also checked. In this
case, there is nothing to complain about, all systems
run satisfactorily. WESTERN CO.

SelfChill
cold room in Kenya:
The first SelfChill Cold Room in Kenya has been
successfully installed at the Strathmore Energy
Research Center in Nairobi. This modular cold room has
a volume of 20m3 and operate at a temperature of
5-10°C with help of an innovative ice-storage system
which runs 100% by solar. We congratulate
the Strathmore University Business School in Kenya and
the University of Hohenheim in Germany for this great
achievement!

New fans:We
install 24V fans in our offices to move the warm
air in winter and reduce the hot temperatures in
summer. This is at the same time a long-term
test to check the quality of Phaesun DC fans and
to present them to visitors in operation.

Selfchill
project launch in Zambia and Tanzania:
Phaesun
has started the project SelfChill Zambia and Tanzania!
We introduce solar cooling solutions based on the
SelfChill concept to help improving food safety and
reduce agricultural losses. SelfChill is a modular
approach to create solar cooling solutions for milk
cooling, ice making or cold rooms.
We are happy to work with Solar Cooling Engineering,
id Solar Solutions, RESCO Ltd and Fountain Gate Crafts
and Trade School Lusaka.
Our activities in Zambia and Tanzania are supported
through EEP Africa and the NDF.

Sun Pearl Aero Modul:
News
from the Phaesun front. Our new Sun Pearl Aero is
great for all box trucks. Its aerodynamic shape and
black finish give this 100 watt module its
professional look. The spoiler integrated in the frame
makes this module easy to install and the modern
shingle cell technology achieves more yield when
shading.
By the way, there is no such thing as a shade
resistant module, you can only minimize the yield drop
by taking various measures. Shading is shading - there
is less power but with the shingle cell technology you
can still get more out of it!
